Kept us waiting in the cold for the shuttle from the airport for 40 minutes then demanded 3 pieces of evidence of address despite there being no mention of this requirement anywhere on the paperwork. The car was fine though.
A really racist and discriminatory company.If really want to avoid a bad experience, avoid them.I have been living in Newcastle for the last 7 years, and never had an experience like this. The manager was extremely rude and abusive.I have provide them with every proof of address details they require but the more I did, the more they asked.Showed them bank statements and council tax bill, and the manager said to me how do I know these are not fabricated? , Showed the statements directly from my Mobile bank app, still.He wanted me to show my mortgage documents that I left at home.How on earth , I would get that.This is purely because of my race.Taking this further, in the meantime, if you a foreigner or something like that, this is the worse place you can go to, I had to stop myself not to punch the manager.
I was frankly appalled that a member of your staff could treat a customer in this way and punish him because he said that Im dealing with easirent the company not personally you as a manager. I am not normally moved to complain but on this occasion, I feel I should bring the matter to your attention because you lost a customer because a manager felt he had the right and power to refuse service to someone. I fully respect the right of staff to withhold service to rude, aggressive, disruptive customers but in this instance, I was none of these and I feel that you should seriously consider whether you want to develop a reputation for managers who use their power in such an inappropriate manner.
AVOID. There a bunch off cowboys trying to rip you off. I booked a car true rental cars and added insurance as well for a total off 135 complete, for 7 days. Had to take a taxi to pick up the car brought all the right paper work and they refused to give me one as they demanded more, prove off address even though rental cars informed me that my info was correct. These rogue traders demand and additional 266 for insurance or they wouldn't give me a car I refused and had to spend more money on a taxi fare home, I wasn't the only one as the woman infront off me had the same and as she was stuck at 9pm at night she didn't have any other choice then to pay the additional insurance fee that they demanded. Avoid them at all cost, pay a bit extra and go for a decent rental company.
